Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work "Venus", from: "Details of renaissance paintings (Sandro Botticelli, Birth of Venus, 1482)" by Andy Warhol for SEK 280,000.00 (€ 30,689.15). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 300,000.00 – 350,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Venus", from: "Details of renaissance paintings (Sandro Botticelli, Birth of Venus, 1482)" von Andy Warhol für SEK 280.000,00 (€ 30.689,15) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 300.000,00 – 350.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andy Warhol erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shot Sage Blue Marilyn im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 195.040.000,00 (€ 181.753.797,41).
