The price achieved of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,814.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Christopher Williams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Angola to Vietnam in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 76,375.00 (€ 81,877.14).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.814,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christopher Williams auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Angola to Vietnam im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 76.375,00 (€ 81.877,14).
