The work Mickey (Large) by Damien Hirst was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2016. The auction ended at the price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,280.61), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Mickey (Large) von Damien Hirst kam im Oktober 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.280,61) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Damien Hirst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lullaby Spring im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.652.000,00 (€ 14.323.082,54).
