This artwork by Edward Dugmore achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November 2011. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Session II auction, the work without title sold for USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,827.03) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edward Dugmore have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue-Black in June 2008 with an auction result of USD 116,500.00 (€ 73,977.65).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Edward Dugmore erzielte im November 2011 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Session II wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 11.875,00 (€ 8.827,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edward Dugmore auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blue-Black im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 116.500,00 (€ 73.977,65).
