Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Building by Ena Swansea for GBP 525.00 (€ 670.35). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ena Swansea achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Above the Ocean in a Storm". in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 28,380.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Building von Ena Swansea für GBP 525,00 (€ 670,35) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ena Swansea erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Above the Ocean in a Storm". im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 28.380,00.
