Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled, from Le Tir à l'Arc by Georges Braque was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,152.00 (€ 1,054.95) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Braque achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage À La Ciotat in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 15,845,000.00 (€ 12,199,722.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled, from Le Tir à l'Arc von Georges Braque wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.152,00 (€ 1.054,95) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Braque erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage À La Ciotat im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.845.000,00 (€ 12.199.722,82).
