In June 2004 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Day Sale, which included the work Grün-Blau-Rot by Gerhard Richter. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 35,850.00 (€ 53,355.54), 63% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerhard Richter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstraktes Bild in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 30,389,000.00 (€ 41,901,917.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grün-Blau-Rot von Gerhard Richter zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 35.850,00 (€ 53.355,54) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerhard Richter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstraktes Bild im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.389.000,00 (€ 41.901.917,57).
