In April this year Christies in New York held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Femme à la glace - La glace à main, from Elles by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,710.00 (€ 9,701.09), 53% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Blanchisseuse in November 2005 with an auction result of USD 22,416,000.00 (€ 19,012,722.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 53 % übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femme à la glace - La glace à main, from Elles von Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.710,00 (€ 9.701,09) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Blanchisseuse im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.416.000,00 (€ 19.012.722,65).
