In July 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Prints & Multiples, which included the work Penhors No. 5 by Henri-Georges Adam. The »bidding war« ended at USD 625.00 (€ 530.83), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Henri-Georges Adam have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 630.00 (€ 540.91) in October 2020 for the work Dalles, Sable Et Eau, No. 7 [Flagstones, Sand And Water, No.7|AID331185].
