Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Three Reclining Figures by Henry Moore was sold in the Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner auction at Bonhams in May this year. It achieved a price of USD 956.25 (€ 897.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Moore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Figure: Festival in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 24,722,500.00 (€ 29,675,067.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Three Reclining Figures von Henry Moore wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 956,25 (€ 897,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Moore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reclining Figure: Festival im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.722.500,00 (€ 29.675.067,53).
