In June 2018 Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Psyche by Joana Vasconcelos. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,952.56) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joana Vasconcelos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Carmen Miranda in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 229,250.00 (€ 264,328.85).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2018 führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Psyche von Joana Vasconcelos zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.952,56) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joana Vasconcelos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Carmen Miranda im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 229.250,00 (€ 264.328,85).
