In April 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Cat; Vase; Madonna; Scarf; And Money by Katharina Fritsch. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,375.03), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Katharina Fritsch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Geist und Blutlache in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 159,200.00 (€ 234,771.89).

Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cat; Vase; Madonna; Scarf; And Money von Katharina Fritsch zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.375,03) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Katharina Fritsch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Geist und Blutlache im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 159.200,00 (€ 234.771,89).
