Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Marilyn); Untitled (Three Warhols); Untitled (Mao/Lichtenstein) Three Works by Louise Lawler was sold in the Post-War to Present auction at Christies in New York in March last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,040.00 (€ 4,543.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louise Lawler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monogram in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 542,500.00 (€ 438,773.86).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Marilyn); Untitled (Three Warhols); Untitled (Mao/Lichtenstein) Three Works von Louise Lawler wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War to Present bei Christies in New York versteigert.
