The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Visitor in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 3,177,250.00 (€ 4,036,731.89).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.379,78) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marlene Dumas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Visitor im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.177.250,00 (€ 4.036.731,89).
