Sold at the lower estimate price
The work 88 Seoul Olympic Memorial by Nam June Paik was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Christies in London in April 2021. The result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,601.16) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nam June Paik achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fat Boy in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 4,280,000.00 (€ 503,667.21).
