In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale auction, the work Pair of armchairs, model no. PK 15 sold for HKD 21,250.00 (€ 2,328.22) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Poul Kjærholm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Set of six chairs, model no. PK 11 in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 31,850.00 (€ 24,134.27).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Poul Kjærholm erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Phillips in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Pair of armchairs, model no. PK 15 für HKD 21.250,00 (€ 2.328,22) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Poul Kjærholm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Set of six chairs, model no. PK 11 im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.850,00 (€ 24.134,27).
