Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paris Suite I (Spring) by Robert Motherwell was sold in the Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner auction at Bonhams in May this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,912.50 (€ 1,795.10) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Motherwell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work At Five in the Afternoon in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 12,690,000.00 (€ 10,874,035.99).

Die Arbeit Paris Suite I (Spring) von Robert Motherwell wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.912,50 (€ 1.795,10) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00.
