Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Robert Silvers achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in April 2004. In the POST WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART auction, the work Flandrin - Jeune Homme sold for GBP 5,736.00 (€ 5,153.40) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Silvers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dollar Bill in October 2004 with an auction result of GBP 53,775.00 (€ 77,397.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Silvers erzielte im April 2004 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion POST WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART wurde die Arbeit Flandrin - Jeune Homme für GBP 5.736,00 (€ 5.153,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Silvers erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dollar Bill im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 53.775,00 (€ 77.397,02).
