Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Rudolf Stingel for USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,580.18). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War to Present at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Stingel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (After Sam) in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 10,551,500.00 (€ 9,390,797.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2021 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rudolf Stingel für USD 11.250,00 (€ 9.580,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War to Present bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Stingel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (After Sam) im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.551.500,00 (€ 9.390.797,44).
