Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Scott Olson could be acquired at Phillips in New York in February 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,295.54) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Scott Olson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 21,250.00 (€ 20,088.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Scott Olson konnte im Februar 2019 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.295,54) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Scott Olson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 20.088,86).
