Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Helters Kelter by Till Gerhard was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2015. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,617.59). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Till Gerhard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Waldrand, which sold at auction in February 2009 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,186.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Helters Kelter von Till Gerhard kam im September 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.617,59) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Till Gerhard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Waldrand beobachtet, die im Februar 2009 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.186,70) versteigert wurde.
