Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Wilhelm Sasnal was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary ArtDay Auction auction at Christies in London in October 2010. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,295.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelm Sasnal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Airplanes in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 396,000.00 (€ 294,358.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wilhelm Sasnal wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary ArtDay Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.295,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Sasnal erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Airplanes im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 396.000,00 (€ 294.358,14).
