Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Limited Edition, which included the work Club Allegro Fortissimo, Paris - 1990 - 2011 by William Klein. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,837.00 22% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Klein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Smoke And Veil, Paris, 1958 (Vogue) in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 144,000.00 (€ 114,068.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Limited Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Club Allegro Fortissimo, Paris - 1990 - 2011 von William Klein zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.837,00 und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Klein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Smoke And Veil, Paris, 1958 (Vogue) im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 144.000,00 (€ 114.068,44).
