In February this year Bonhams held the auction Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions, which included the work Untitled (4 works) by Yaacov Agam. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,443.12), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yaacov Agam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Growth in December 2010 with an auction result of USD 698,500.00 (€ 526,414.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (4 works) von Yaacov Agam zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.443,12) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yaacov Agam erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Growth im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 698.500,00 (€ 526.414,95).
