In November last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Limited Edition, which included the work Catalogue Raisonné des éditions et sculptures - 2000 by Yves Klein. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,298.00 57% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yves Klein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Anthropométrie de l’époque bleue, (ANT 124) (Anthropometry of the Blue Period), (ANT 124)) in June last year with an auction result of GBP 27,197,000.00 (€ 31,595,177.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 57 % übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Limited Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Catalogue Raisonné des éditions et sculptures - 2000 von Yves Klein zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.298,00 und damit 57% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yves Klein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Anthropométrie de l’époque bleue, (ANT 124) (Anthropometry of the Blue Period), (ANT 124)) im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.197.000,00 (€ 31.595.177,57).
