Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2018 Christies in New York held the auction First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Tavola Dei Segni 1958/59, I. by Arnaldo Pomodoro. The price achieved of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,085.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnaldo Pomodoro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Giroscopio IV in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 674,500.00 (€ 943,457.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tavola Dei Segni 1958/59, I. von Arnaldo Pomodoro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.085,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arnaldo Pomodoro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Giroscopio IV im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 674.500,00 (€ 943.457,03).
