Screenprint in colors on C.M. Fabriano Cotone paper, signed in pencil and numbered 146/150 (there were also 25 artist's proofs), published by David G. Godine Publishers and the Centre for Constitutional Rights, New York, with the blindstamp of the printer, Styria Studio, New York, with full margins, framed.

The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,443.12), 70% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claes Oldenburg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Clothespin Ten Foot in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,637,000.00 (€ 3,443,476.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Striding Figure (1962), from Conspiracy: The Artist as Witness von Claes Oldenburg wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions bei Bonhams versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.443,12) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claes Oldenburg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Clothespin Ten Foot im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.637.000,00 (€ 3.443.476,61).
