The work Valium by Damien Hirst was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Christies in London in March 2017. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,719.01), 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).

Die Arbeit Valium von Damien Hirst wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.719,01) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Damien Hirst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lullaby Spring im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.652.000,00 (€ 14.323.082,54).
