Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Limited Edition, which included the work Le Minotaure - 2005 by François-Xavier Lalanne. The price achieved of EUR 656.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François-Xavier Lalanne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'RHINOCRÉTAIRE I', PIÈCE UNIQUE, 1964 in October this year with an auction result of EUR 18,335,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Limited Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Minotaure - 2005 von François-Xavier Lalanne zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 656,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François-Xavier Lalanne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'RHINOCRÉTAIRE I', PIÈCE UNIQUE, 1964 im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.335.000,00.
