In October this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work 11.10.04 by Gerhard Richter. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 50,400.00 (€ 57,873.20), 44% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerhard Richter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstraktes Bild in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 30,389,000.00 (€ 41,901,917.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit 11.10.04 von Gerhard Richter zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 57.873,20) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerhard Richter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstraktes Bild im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.389.000,00 (€ 41.901.917,57).
