Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Gerhard Richter achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November 2006. In the Post War and Contemporary Art Morning Session auction, the work Grün-Blau-Rot sold for USD 168,000.00 (€ 126,687.28) - well above the upper estimate of USD 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerhard Richter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstraktes Bild in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 30,389,000.00 (€ 41,901,917.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gerhard Richter erzielte im November 2006 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art Morning Session wurde die Arbeit Grün-Blau-Rot für USD 168.000,00 (€ 126.687,28) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerhard Richter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstraktes Bild im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.389.000,00 (€ 41.901.917,57).
