Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sahararelief Mit Spiegel by Heinz Mack was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in February 2020. The price achieved of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 72,437.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Heinz Mack achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kleiner Urwald. in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 1,190,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sahararelief Mit Spiegel von Heinz Mack wurde im Februar 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 72.437,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Heinz Mack erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kleiner Urwald. im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.190.000,00.
