Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash: Featuring Artists of the South of France, which included the work Les Palmiers by Hugues Claude Pissarro. The price achieved of USD 6,120.00 (€ 5,186.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hugues Claude Pissarro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Un Dimanche À La Roseraie 'Jean Grave' (Pont De L'Arche Alizay) in April 2021 with an auction result of GBP 30,240.00 (€ 34,784.80).

Im August 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash: Featuring Artists of the South of France durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Palmiers von Hugues Claude Pissarro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.120,00 (€ 5.186,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hugues Claude Pissarro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Un Dimanche À La Roseraie 'Jean Grave' (Pont De L'Arche Alizay) im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.240,00 (€ 34.784,80).
