Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Place De La Concorde by Jean Dufy was sold in the Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash: Featuring Artists of the South of France auction at Bonhams in New York in August 2021. The price achieved of USD 2,040.00 (€ 1,728.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Dufy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Salle Gaveau, le grand orchestre in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 210,119.35).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.040,00 (€ 1.728,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden.
