It achieved a price of USD 69,300.00 (€ 62,471.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joyce Pensato - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunset Batman, which sold at auction in December 2020 for HKD 2,250,000.00 (€ 237,326.25).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 69.300,00 (€ 62.471,83) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Für andere Arbeiten von Joyce Pensato mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunset Batman beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für HKD 2.250.000,00 (€ 237.326,25) versteigert wurde.
