Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kaws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Kimpsons #1) in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 57,877,000.00 (€ 6,615,255.49).

Die Arbeit Pinocchio & Jiminy Cricket von Kaws kam im Mai 2014 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.950,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kaws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Kimpsons #1) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.877.000,00 (€ 6.615.255,49).
