Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Small Lie (Brown) & Beautiful Losers Exhibition Poster by Kaws was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 765.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kaws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Kimpsons #1) in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 57,877,000.00 (€ 6,615,255.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Small Lie (Brown) & Beautiful Losers Exhibition Poster von Kaws wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 765,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kaws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Kimpsons #1) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.877.000,00 (€ 6.615.255,49).
