Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Kenneth Price could be acquired at Christies in New York in October last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Plain Of Smokes changed hands for USD 6,000.00 (€ 6,039.86) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kenneth Price achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work M. Green in May this year with an auction result of USD 554,400.00 (€ 520,367.94).
