Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Klinger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Junge Frau auf Diwan. in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 162,500.00.

Die Arbeit Ein Handschuh, Opus VI, G. H. Klinger, Leipzig, 1924 (S. 113-122) von Max Klinger kam im September 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 5.400,00 (€ 7.966,14) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 54%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Max Klinger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Junge Frau auf Diwan. im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 162.500,00.
