Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work No. 33 by Michael Ashkin for USD 3,107.00 (€ 3,145.06). This price was achieved in the auction Post War and Contemporary Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Michael Ashkin have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in February 2007 by the work No. 78 at USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,353.74).

Im September 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit No. 33 von Michael Ashkin für USD 3.107,00 (€ 3.145,06) erwerben. Andere Arbeiten von Michael Ashkin wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Februar 2007 die Arbeit No. 78 mit USD 5.760,00 (€ 4.353,74).
