Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Menina II, 1972 by Miguel Berrocal. The price achieved of EUR 3,825.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miguel Berrocal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Via Appia in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 50,249.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Menina II, 1972 von Miguel Berrocal zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.825,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Miguel Berrocal erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Via Appia im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 50.249,24).
