Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ecuyère, "Bonhomme" et "Mousquetaire", from Séries 347 (B. 1524; Ba. 1540 Bb1) by Pablo Picasso was sold in the Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints auction at Christies in London in September 2006. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,664.81). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
