Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Rivales - 1966 by Paul Delvaux was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in May last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,936.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Delvaux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Miroir in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 7,317,000.00 (€ 9,375,831.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Les Rivales - 1966 von Paul Delvaux kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.936,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Delvaux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Miroir im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.317.000,00 (€ 9.375.831,98).
