Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Paul Morrison could be acquired at Christies in London in September 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints & Multiples: First Impression auction, the work Glebe changed hands for GBP 625.00 (€ 846.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Morrison achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Protoplasm in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 38,200.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Morrison konnte im September 2015 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints & Multiples: First Impression wechselte die Arbeit Glebe für GBP 625,00 (€ 846,40) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Morrison erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Protoplasm im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 38.200,36).
