Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paysage de Normandie by Raoul Dufy was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 74,693.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul Dufy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Regattes À Trouville in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,505,000.00 (€ 2,075,171.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paysage de Normandie von Raoul Dufy kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 63.000,00 (€ 74.693,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul Dufy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Regattes À Trouville im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.505.000,00 (€ 2.075.171,47).
