Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Integrated Rainbow) by Yaacov Agam was sold in the Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions auction at Bonhams in February this year. The price achieved of USD 1,083.75 (€ 1,022.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yaacov Agam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Growth in December 2010 with an auction result of USD 698,500.00 (€ 526,414.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Integrated Rainbow) von Yaacov Agam wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.083,75 (€ 1.022,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yaacov Agam erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Growth im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 698.500,00 (€ 526.414,95).
