Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Ahmed Alsoudani was auctioned at Christies in London in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 72,341.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ahmed Alsoudani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baghdad I in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 713,250.00 (€ 825,451.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ahmed Alsoudani kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 63.000,00 (€ 72.341,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ahmed Alsoudani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baghdad I im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 713.250,00 (€ 825.451,23).
