The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).

Die Arbeit 20th Montreux Jazz Festival von Andy Warhol kam im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.211,25 (€ 1.444,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 73%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andy Warhol erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shot Sage Blue Marilyn im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 195.040.000,00 (€ 181.753.797,41).
