Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anthony Caro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flats in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 588,500.00 (€ 556,343.35).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 24.000,00 (€ 34.803,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anthony Caro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flats im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 588.500,00 (€ 556.343,35).
