Silver plated fiberglass multiple, on a cardboard and linen case lid, lacking the exhibition catalogue Arnoldo Pomodoro: Großplastiken, 1972.
9 x 9 x 3/4 in. (22.9 x 22.9 x 1.9 cm)
Signed and numbered 35/100 in pencil on the case lid (there were also some artist's proofs).

Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Custodia per catalogo mostra a Darmstadt (Case for exhibition catalog in Darmstadt) (A.P. M24) by Arnaldo Pomodoro for USD 826.00 (€ 780.42). This price was achieved in the auction Editions & Works on Paper: Online Auction at Phillips in 6 - and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnaldo Pomodoro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Giroscopio IV in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 674,500.00 (€ 943,457.03).

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper: Online Auction bei Phillips in 6 - erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arnaldo Pomodoro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Giroscopio IV im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 674.500,00 (€ 943.457,03).
